It is traditional at this time of year for people to makes lists of their resolutions for the new year. Unfortunately, before the ink has even dried on the paper, the resolutions are forgotten and do not cross the mind until the following New Years' Eve. I am making the following resolutions for 2010 and will do my best to review them often so that they may keep me on track in making some positive changes in my life.
RESOLUTIONS FOR 2010:
1. In 2010, I will continue to show unending love to my beloved wife and son.
2. In 2010, I will enhance my discipleship through meditation, prayer, fasting, study, simplicity, solitude, submission, service, confession, worship, celebration, and lectio divina.
3. In 2010, I will develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle that includes proper nutrition and exercise.
4. In 2010, I will write something everyday.
5. In 2010, I will play less computer games to give myself more time for spiritual and intellectual pursuits.
6. In 2010, I will excel at my college studies.
7. In 2010, I will learn how to knit and crochet and begin a prayer shawl ministry.
8. In 2010, I will discipline my life to become more like Jesus.
9. In 2010, I will share the love of Christ with those around me.
